Meeting the Boys for Lunch

Since Dave was home today (and it worked well as one of our 25 days of Christmas activities) we brought lunch and sat at the parents table with the boys. Lexi was pretty happy to be wearing a French panda visitors tag.

Here comes our kindergartener...
Lexi wanted to do "cheers"
Zach was mr. social, waving and calling out to his classmates as they walked by, "ISAAC....MICHAEL....MASON..." He didn't even get to finish all his lunch, but wanted to know how many days we could do this.
a christmas cookie for dessert. After reading the tin that said, "Merry Christmas" and "I love cookies". Lexi started saying, "Merry Cookies to you" that is very fitting for that girl!
and here comes our 2nd grader...
Josh was all lunchtime business- no calling out to friends just shoveling the food in as quick as possible and wanting to eat anything else around. (maybe he has learned from those seemingly harsh lunch ladies always yelling about how they need to eat and not talk and eat their sandwich before their chips and that they are getting way too loud) He also is just a boy who can put quite a bit down in a short amount of time- just like dad.
