Toddler Bed

We made the switch to toddler bed for Lexi this weekend.

It's a Lexi under that blanket
She was pretty excited about it and loves it. (sleeping in it at night is a different story however)
Rico liked it

She laid down (in the middle of the day) and said "I need my books"

and the boys like it

Zach says it is his bed too and he plans on always sleeping there

Homemade Ice Cream

got this last week-end at a garage sale. Nearly brand new (used once) Cuisinart Frozen yogurt, ice cream and sorbet maker for $5. We tried out just the plain vanilla first and it only took about 20 min. in the machine and was quite tasty!

Wed. was Dollar Day to get in so we headed out to Calhan to check it out...

Denver City Park

After the Botanic Gardens we took our lunch to have a picnic in the park and then the kids cooled off in the fountain (they had a blast until we were told it wasn't allowed) then they played on the playground for a bit and we headed home. Great day in Denver with great friends!
