Gram's First Day

A stop at Wash Park in Denver- the old boat house

great place to cool off

and catch crawdaddy's (or lobsters as the boys called them) - Gross!

a beautiful place to just relax a bit...

then it was off to a sky sox baseball game in colorado springs

Lexi did A LOT of cheering...for the fox :)

the boys were ready to go after a couple innings

but $2 tuesday night was worth it

Boys Fishing Day

This past weekend was a license free fishing week-end. Plus, they were giving away free rod & reel to the first 500 kids at one of the lakes in town. So Dave took the boys (while Lexi & I did the Walk For Life) to pick up a free rod and then headed up in the mountains a bit to do some fishin'

a brown trout caught by Josh (they let them go as the cleaning and eating is not so much for them)

Zach always tries his hand at fishing but then spends most the time looking for sticks, rocks, ect.

Josh, however can be found standing at the edge of the water with pole in hand for hours...

it was a good day for the boys
