the boys & I (Lexi was at school- so weird) took lunch to meet him at a park near his route
we sang & had cheesecake w/blueberries
he got home semi-early at about 8:15pm, had one of the 3 free meals schwans had given him for dinner, opened some gifts and relaxed
this was preschool orientation- the day before she actually went for her first day (it's the preschool where Zach went too and he reassured her that it's a good school with a really fun playground. (which he has lamented about again since then saying that preschool was more fun than kindergarten because you didn't have to do work)

Josh said he wanted to lead her there (he also said it was going to be nice and quiet with Lexi gone for a few hours...)
hugs good-bye with Lexi saying, "I'll miss you!"
but happily waves good-bye- she seemed totally fine with all of it
hanging up her little pink backpack
she has afternoon preschool so they eat lunch as soon as they get there
the boys checking on her one last time before leaving
and 3.5 hrs later-picking her up!!
they had just been at the playground and the first thing she wanted to do was get the sand out of her shoes
and then hug her new friend bye
She said it was a good day. The computer room (fun kid computer) was broken and that they didn't make her eat the corn at lunch.

enjoyed the beauty around us
and the cuties with us
and some good river walking
and finished with a small hike just a tad up from the river
our initial plans had been to go watch the broncos training practice but in the morning they cancelled their evening practice(along with the last week)...bummer, maybe next year
but a picnic & a great park with great friends- a very close second:)
skirts & high heels do not hold this girl back!
