A Week w/ Kam & Sum

My sister & niece (and nephew in belly) came to visit for a week. We picked them up in Denver & went to Casa Bonita- an old time fave.

Black Bart's cave- Josh went through at least 3 times. Zach maybe twice and Lexi not at all. She had already had all the scare she could take when the big gorilla ran by her while she happened to be standing by herself.
the best part of the restuarant ~ all you can eat sopapillas ~ put that flag up again!

then onto wash park
I think we can safely say the theme of the week was water:)

and the little river there

Lexi's new "baby doll"
matching jammy girls

a surprise visit from some other Martins ~ went to Helen Hunt falls

and Garden of the Gods
an afternoon at America the Beautiful park & water
Josh loved "helping" Summer

and an afternoon at our sprayground

and bathtime
heading to the great sand dunes to camp with our bible study group
little girls nap
and some starbucks gets them going again...

pretty cool sand dunes
the girls played in the sand
the boys did some sledding down them

back at camp- where it rained late afternoon into the evening
the kids didn't notice or care
but the adults did- so a combination of things led to us leaving @ about 8:30pm instead of actually camping overnight. Maybe next time.
Lexi's slightly recovering, from being completely swollen shut eye. She had some sort of reaction to some sort of bite we believe.
swimming at Prospect Lake in the springs. The kids loved it, Zach wondered if I had brought goggles & said he was going to call it "the beach".

Summer still loves to play a little Bakugon:) and loved putting the cards between her two front teeth...
one last water stop before going to DIA ~ Belleview park ~ train ride & river play
Josh & Summer had fun running down the hill

We almost got to keep them a little longer as circumstances led to Kami only having 35 minutes to check in, come back for the last paci that was left in the car, go through security, take the tram to the right concourse and then run to the gate. The kids were really hoping she would not make it on... We had a wonderful week!
