Yesterday the kids had a 2 hr. delayed start so they were out helping get the car de-snowed at 10:30 getting ready to go to school. They were all fighting over who got to use the ice scraper- how long will that last? probably not long enough to where they are actually tall enough to reach all the windows!
The above picture is from today- we awoke to those blessed words scrolling across the tv screen "Widefield D-3 - CLOSED" It's a snow day!!! (man, I would have loved those when I was growing up, but didn't so much happen in southern california) It is 11am and 9 degrees- we are heading towards our high of the day of 12 degrees! Would be fun to head outside and do some snow playing but don't know how much "fun" it would be in these current temps... probably more of a movie, games, hot chocolate day.
