Now that Dave is working on Saturdays- it's just the kids & I. Today was the perfect stay indoors day since it's stayed right about 25 degrees and had some snow flurries/lite snow on and off. (Poor Dave out there walking around and knocking on doors!)
Josh wrote his own message on the chalkboard (Welcome Halloween- after erasing my Welcome Autumn)
Then we attempted to make spiders like I had seen in a magazine. Didn't quite look like the photo, but they had fun making them and the most fun eating them.
Then they wanted to dig out all their winter wear and go outside for awhile. Snow wasn't really sticking to the ground and piling up, but they were licking snow off of leaves, toys, anything they found it on and just doing what kids do outside.
They came in with pink noses and warmed up with some hot chocolate and mac n cheese w/ hotdogs.
