Beautiful, sunny & WARM day (incidentally the same temp as my fam in socal only they called it a "chilly" day:) Never been to Champps before but had a pretty good reason to try it out...it was half price burger sunday plus they gave a free meal and future gift card to moms.
I've been blessed with three amazing kids
kids meals are only 3.99 and include a drink and sundae
fun at the fountain outside
and champps gift to me! every month for a year it gets $15 loaded onto it! great food, half price burger days & kids eat free days plus this cute pink card means we will be back!
then we checked out a couple parks on the north side of town we had never been to- this one is Black Forest Regional Park
zach finds a big stick to walk with & then says, "call me yoda."
great playground, grassy area, picnic gazebos, tennis courts and hiking trails all in a beautiful woodsy setting
the next one- Fox Run Regional Park- also lots of great stuff with beautiful backround AND a couple little lakes- we will definitely be back there! 
came home to cake- Josh's fave- chocolate. It was a new recipe and was soooo good.
then went to the last awana of the year (awana awards are this wed.- both boys finished their first book!) Josh also made a card for me and he had made something for me at school that he said I had to open the minute he got in the car on Friday afternoon- he didn't want me to wait til Sunday, or even til we got home for that matter- cute! It was a key chain with his photo from this year in it.
