We went to our friends house to hang out for the day. The kids did a lot of whatever kids do when there are 6 of them playing in the basement with lots of toys and creative kid minds. They would come up when they were hungry or someone got hurt:)
The adults got to play 2 rounds of Settlers of Catan! and eat chili and cornbread and chat and deal with hurting or hungry kids now and then.
The guys did take the kids down to the nearby school to play for a bit
after the invigorating/quite cold jaunt outside they came back for some hot cocoa and popcorn
then a little movie time/nap for the little ones time
